Great beauty hides dark secrets...

Seventeen-year-old Anastasia Lockhart has never led an easy life, but when she starts getting into serious trouble, she’s sent to live with her grandparents in Cedar Falls. The small, picturesque town hasn’t changed since she visited four years ago, with one exception – the presence of a handsome, mysterious boy named Frost. Despite warnings from her grandparents and friends to stay away from Frost, Anastasia can’t deny their attraction, and the more time they spend together, the deeper in love they fall. Unfortunately, Frost has a secret that is beyond Anastasia’s wildest imagination, and she soon finds herself in the midst of a supernatural legend that has haunted Cedar Falls for years.
Can Anastasia and Frost’s love really overcome anything, or are their fates much darker?

Frostbitten by Heather Beck was offered to me by the author in exchange for an honest review and I have to thank her for that. When I read the description of the book, I knew I had to read it.

Anastasia Lockhart is a young woman who was send to her grandparent because she was getting into trouble again and her mother couldn’t deal with it. But trouble is following her around at her new school and her grandfather has a hard time believing her innocence.
The only person who seems to believe her is the handsome young man named Frost and he isn’t her grandparent's favorite boy in town.

Frost is a young man who has the word “trouble” written all over him, but that doesn’t stop Anastasia. She is drawn to him like a magnet and he cannot understand his attraction between them. But Frost has a secret and he isn’t sure he want to share this with Anastasia, because it could mean loose her forever.

I love Anastasia determination, the moment Frost tells her his secret and it appears he has to run for his life. She drops everything and comes along with him, no matter what. Her loyalty to Frost is adorable and totally understandable.

Although I thought the book was kind of slow in the beginning, it seems to get better and better by the chapter and before I knew it I was drawn in the story and I had to see how it got along. I was glad to see a happy ending, but I hope Anastasia and Frost will get another book because I have the feeling they aren’t done yet.
